Ferrari 456 GT is one of the latest creations of Ferrari in the GT series, began its existence in 1992. This double coupet has a V12 engine, the volume of 5474 cub. cm, the power of 442 h.p., 6250 rpms, the maximal speed of 302 kmph, and a 4-second speeding-up. Ferrari GT differs from the other models by a more capacious interior and a range of conveniences, which are usually not available in models of this brand. Also, it is distinguished by a high-grade luggage carrier which a Ferrari, as a rule, does not have. The breadboard model of Ferrari 456 GT was carefully blown in a wind tunnel (even the bottom of it), therefore the car has not only a pretty design, but confidently feels on high speeds. In 2004, GT was modernized and the new Ferrari 460 GT was released. The new car has a longer wheel base of 15 cm (the control was improved, and the volume of the interior was increased). Also, the platform was changed, which is now made not of pig-iron, but of aluminum (Ferrari 460 GT weighs 160 kg less than its predecessor). The engine has undergone changes as well, and now Ferrari GT has a representative of a new generation V12 (with the power of 500 h.p., speeding-up to 100 kmph for 5.1 seconds, and the maximal speed of 300 kmph). Ferrari 460 GT has a 6-gear (equential type) gearbox. At that, the updated Ferrari GT costs 240000 dollars.
